Magnetic coils that turn string vibration into an electrical signal.
Bridge & tremolo
Anchors the strings; the arm bends their pitch by shifting tension.
Pickup selector switch
Chooses which pickup (or combination) feeds the output.
Volume & tone knobs
Shape the signal before it reaches the amplifier.
